Peruvian Fashion Designer Brand Hera Concept
The Hera Concept Behind The Scenes
What comes to mind when you think of Peru? Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, the Inca Trail or maybe the colonial city of Cusco that is rich in archaeological sites. Does fashion spring to the foreground of your mind? Alicia and Alexandra Hamann are on a mission to do just that! The Hera Concept is a Peruvian native brand, using Peruvian native materials created by two sisters born and raised in the South American country.
The “Hera Concept” project began as a collective dream between sisters Alicia and Alexandra Hamann while growing up in Peru.
Inspired by their surrounding environment – enriched in the raw, natural talent of the Peruvian people and the unique products derived from said talent – the Hamann sisters sought to create a championing enterprise that would not only celebrate the history and culture of their home country, but also provide Peruvian suppliers with a greater opportunity for growth.
Their appreciation for their roots coupled by a selfless motivation to help bring further recognition to their Peruvian counterparts has today steered the Hamann sisters’ dream into reality.
